Silent keepers of Delft

Especially his first encounter with the New Church where Vermeer was baptized made a deep impression. The New Church is a quiet guard who has been on the market for centuries and has seen everything. The area around the church changes, but the New Church still remains. The church has a face with an eye. He looks at the people and the people look at him. They also look up to heaven through the tower. There are two perspectives that meet at the intersection.
